Philip Freiberger qualified in 1980 and after oral surgery training joined his father and brother in 1982 in the West End practice established by his grandfather in 1920. Phil has been placing and restoring dental implants since 1982 and started using the ITI system in 1993. 

 

He has been a member of the ITI since 1996 and is presently an ITI Fellow and  Chairman of the UK and Ireland Section. Phil is a past Chairman and founder member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK, a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Member of British Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Member of European Association of Osseointegration.

 

He is an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Periodontology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London ,an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Dental Implantology at Salford University, Manchester, a member of the Faculty of Examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, and on the Editorial Board of Implant Dentistry magazine.
