Colin qualified BDS from the University of Glasgow in 1994 and proceeded to take up a position as House Officer in Periodontology, Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery. Following this, Colin moved to Nottingham to be a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery at Queen’s Medical Centre and the following year, Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. 

Colin entered practice in 1997 and has remained in the same practice ever since, developing a referral base service in oral surgery and oral implantology. Colin’s practice is now completely limited to oral surgery and implantology and he performs both surgical and restorative aspects of implantology, together with intraoral bone grafting. Colin has been lecturing for Straumann since 2000 and has lectured extensively throughout Scotland and England.
