Lawrence Chan is the owner and principal dental surgeon of the Dental Care Partnership, a successful private practice in Sutton Coldfield. He has a special interest in implant dentistry, being one of a small number in the country to have been awarded through examination, the Diploma in Dental Implantology of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and also granted the Advanced Certificate in Implant Dentistry. 

He has been a Vocational Trainer and is now a tutor and mentor for the Diploma in Dental Implantology. His practice is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeon as a work-based dental implant training centre. He is widely read and has lectured on dental implant courses and has been invited to lecture Internationally, recently in China on implant dentistry. He is also an Honorary Associate Specialist in Oral Surgery at the Royal Worcester Hospital.
